About us

We are an informal group of Monterey County bee enthusiasts who enjoy sharing information and experiences in hopes of helping the local honey bee population thrive!

Bee Swarms & Extractions

Changes in weather or other hive events can trigger honeybees to leave their hives to find a new home. You could call a pest control company if a swarm lands in your yard... but they can only kill the bees and will charge you for it. If you want to save the bees and the planet, call a local beekeeper who will relocate the bees to a safe place- often for free!
